Call for Journal Presentations

The IEEE/IAPR IJCB 2024 is pleased to announce a journal paper presentation opportunity for recent and in-press journal papers within the IJCB scope. The papers should be accepted/published in top-tier journals and should be relevant to the scope of the conference. Papers that are recently published in the IEEE Transaction on Biometrics, Identity and Behavior (T-BIOM) are especially welcome.

Eligible journal papers must have been published after July 31, 2023 (i.e., last date considered for IJCB 2023), or formally accepted on or before July 31st, 2024 and pending publication. Please note that we have limited space to accommodate these presentation requests and would like to reserve the right to grant or decline any requests at our sole discretion. Priorities will be given to recent journal papers that add value to the IJCB technical program, present significantly novel contributions and yet have not been presented at IJCB.

Approved requests for presentations must have one author/presenter register for the conference, according to the IJCB 2024 registration instructions. Each accepted journal paper will be presented either as an oral or a poster, and the final decision on the presentation format will be made by the organizers after evaluating the submissions.

To submit a presentation request, please go to CMT at https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/IJCB2024, select the Journal Presentation Track, and submit a PDF by following the submission instructions. The following information should be included:

  1. Title
  2. Abstract
  3. Complete Author List
  4. Journal name
  5. Publication year
  6. Journal Volume, Issue and Page Numbers (if available)
  7. DOI Number or URL to IEEE Xplore page (if available)
  8. Potential additional information and justification

A copy of the journal paper should be included in the supplementary material. Presentation requests should be submitted by August 1, 2024, 11:59pm Pacific.
